Anxiety Therapy in Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, or Virtual Across Florida

Anxiety counseling session in Palm Beach Gardens

Anxiety can make life feel constantly loud, even when everything looks fine from the outside.

You may seem high functioning to other people. You get things done. You show up. You manage your responsibilities. But internally, your mind rarely slows down. You may live with constant worry, overthinking, restlessness, tension, or the sense that you are always bracing for something to go wrong.

For some people, anxiety feels like racing thoughts and trouble relaxing. For others, it shows up in the body through insomnia, muscle tension, stomach issues, a racing heart, or shortness of breath. Sometimes it looks like irritability, perfectionism, difficulty concentrating, or feeling overwhelmed by even small decisions.

Over time, anxiety can affect every part of life. It can make relationships feel harder, work more draining, parenting more stressful, and daily life more exhausting than it should be. If this sounds familiar, therapy can help.

You might be wondering if anxiety therapy could help if you…

• Feel stuck in constant worry, fear, or worst case scenario thinking

• Have a hard time calming your mind or relaxing your body

• Struggle with panic, dread, or a constant sense of being on edge

• Notice trouble concentrating because your thoughts keep racing

• Feel irritable, overstimulated, or emotionally worn down

• Have difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or getting restful sleep

• Experience physical symptoms like muscle tension, nausea, sweating, dizziness, or a racing heart

• Avoid certain situations because they feel overwhelming or too hard to manage

• Feel like anxiety is interfering with work, relationships, parenting, or everyday life

• Are tired of looking fine on the outside while feeling overwhelmed on the inside

How I work with anxiety

I provide anxiety therapy for adults in Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Juno Beach, North Palm Beach, Tequesta, West Palm Beach, and surrounding areas, as well as virtual therapy across Florida.

My approach is warm, practical, and insight oriented. In therapy, we work on both the immediate symptoms of anxiety and the deeper patterns that may be keeping it in place.

That may include understanding how anxiety affects your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and nervous system. It may also include exploring perfectionism, unresolved stress, attachment wounds, burnout, or past experiences that have shaped how you respond to pressure, uncertainty, and fear.

I use evidence based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other effective strategies to help you better understand your triggers, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and build tools that actually support you in daily life.

Therapy is not about telling you to “just relax” or think more positively. It is about helping you understand what is happening internally, respond differently, and feel more grounded in your life.

What anxiety therapy can help you build

• More control over racing thoughts and chronic worry

• Greater emotional regulation and nervous system stability

• Better sleep and less physical tension

• Healthier responses to stress, fear, and uncertainty

• Stronger boundaries and less people pleasing

• Improved focus and concentration

• More confidence in relationships, work, and daily life

• A calmer, steadier connection to yourself

A note about anxiety

Many people live with anxiety for a long time before reaching out for support.

Sometimes they tell themselves it is “not bad enough.” Sometimes they are used to functioning in survival mode, so they barely notice how much energy anxiety is taking from them. Sometimes they believe they should be able to handle it on their own.

But living in a constant state of tension is not something you have to accept as normal.

You deserve support that helps you feel calmer, clearer, and more at home in your own mind and body.

If you have been carrying anxiety quietly for a long time, reaching out can feel vulnerable. Many people wonder whether they should be able to handle it on their own. The truth is, anxiety often responds best to support, insight, and practical tools.

You do not have to keep living in a constant state of tension.

I would be honored to walk alongside you as you begin to understand your anxiety more clearly and create a life that feels calmer, more grounded, and more like your own.

If it feels like a good fit, I invite you to reach out to take the next step.
